Harris Junior Academy Carshalton – Admissions Consultation
The Governing Body are consulting on admissions arrangements for students applying for places for the academic year beginning in September 2023. The consultation will run over 12 weeks from 1st October 2021 to 23rd December 2021.
The Trust Board have developed a Trust wide template policy for use by all Harris Primary Academies to ensure consistency, clarity and compliance with the Admission’s Code. This may look different to previous policies, but we are simply setting out the new standard criteria clearly.
Proposed changes to the policy include a change of wording and clarification regarding definitions and changes to the oversubscription criteria. They also include the Mandatory changes required as result of the DFE’s new School Admissions Code – Code (2021)
